The layout is perfect for enjoying time together, whether that be cooking, eating or just lounging on the sofas. Located on the edge of the moor it's the perfect base for adventures into the heart of Dartmoor or further afield. We can thoroughly recommend riding with Donna and her team at the Cholwell Riding Stables and eating at the Peter Tavy Inn. Annabel is a fabulous host, always happy to help, the properties are beautifully appointed and maintained."

“We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It has everything you need and you feel right at home when you arrive. With two nine year olds the property was safe and spacious. There was lots of places to explore on site and a stream to paddle in. The boys loved using the facilities on the farm such as playing football, table tennis and using the trampoline. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and short drive to Dartmoor and Tavistock. We hope to stay again soon :)”

“A well-equipped, comfortable cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. We really enjoyed evenings in front the log burner which came with a plentiful supply of logs and made the cottage really cosy. It's well located for Dartmoor walks, including several local pubs within easy strolling distance. Both north and south coasts, providing amazing coastal scenery and beaches are easily accessible from the cottage. Annabel was a friendly host with a wealth of local knowledge.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Ida Cottage. The surroundings are beautiful, I could have sat in the window of our bedroom all day watching the stream rushing past and all the wildlife coming down to it and around us. The cottage itself was perfect for us and we immediately felt at home. We especially loved the character features and all the little windows and shutters throughout added a really magical feel. We appreciated things to get us started such as kitchen roll, washing up liquid, soap and dishwasher tablets and the welcome gift was a thoughtful touch. The cottage was very quiet and peaceful and we could see it would be a lovely place to be in the warmer months when all of the outdoor space could be more easily enjoyed.
